The freedom of travelling

21-11-2019

After being to Canada, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Malta, Greece, Italy, France, Turkey, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, The United Kingdom and the United States I could really say to myself I am getting so much energy of travelling.

Besides travelling to countries for tourism purposes, I really experienced living abroad during my study time in Spain and internship time in Malta. Altogether, I love talking and reading another language (French, Spanish, English) and observing different cultures, nature, behaviours and history.

To experience this all to the full extent, my passion is to photograph all cities I have been combined with interacting with the local people in that particular city and tasting the gastronomy there.

To prepare myself to visit cities, I like to read trip advisor articles and recommendations as well as exploring Instagram. Here I filter on hashtags and cities with its most popular landmarks and must-see spots.

Lastly, I consider it really important to share such memories with good company around. I love travelling with people that are really close to me. Really taking the time for exploring the city and each other is really important to remind the trip as best as possible. Next to travelling with close company, I also travelled with school groups or groups from my Erasmus year in Spain. This gives a different perspective on travelling which is also really amazing.

After all travels, I always look back on the trips by watching pictures and printing them out to place them in a travel book altogether.

Below here, you can find a big collection of photos I took in different countries. For me, these photos give me fascination, energy and happiness.
